UFC 181 will be the rematch between champion Johnny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler. The first fight was a stunning display from both fighters that saw a unaminous decision go to Hendricks. The event will also feature a Middleweight Championship bout between the current champion Chris Weidman and top contender Vitor Belfort, as well as a Lightweight Championship bout between current champion Anthony Pettis and Gilbert Melendez. Elton John is traveling the world on his “Greatest Hits Tour” and now comes to North America. Phish adds four NYE shows in Miami. In a repeat of 2009, the Vermont-based cult band is coming to the American Airlines Arena to perform on New Year’s Eve, and then again for the next three days in a row. In addition to their NYE shows, Trey Anastasio and crew come to Eugene, Seattle, Santa Barbara, Inglewood, Chula Vista, San Francisco and Las Vegas.
In move to control ticket prices to his show, Cat Stevens aka Yusuf Islam has postponed his New York City show and added a Philadelphia date. His rescheduled itinerary brings him to Toronto, Upper Darby, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band will saddle up for a fall tour beginning in November. The “Ride Out” tour is in support of his new album of the same name that arrives October 14th. The tour comes to Saginaw, Bangor, Halifax, Saint John, Boston, Albany, Cleveland, Uncasville, Grand Rapids, Chicago, Saint Louis, Buffalo and New York City.
Dave Chappelle has been adding more dates to an already packed 2014 itinerary.
