College Bowl fever hits Houston with several marque college football lineups taking place. From the BCS Championship Game, Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl; we can also look forward to the Texas Bowl as the Syracuse Orange battle the Minnesota Golden Gophers, held at the Reliant Stadium, while our very own Houston Cougars duke it out in the BBVA Compass Bowl against the Vanderbilt Commodores in Birmingham, while the Rice Owls compete in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl versus the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Memphis.
Lady Gaga had to cancel most of her “Born This Way Ball” because of a hip injury that required surgery. But now she is back with a Spring 2014 tour, renamed in honor of her third studio album, “ARTPOP.” Now called “artRave: The ARTPOP Ball,” the tour rolls into the Toyota Center in Houston on 16th of July.
In support of their third studio album, “Midnight Memories,” One Direction is launching a 2014 stadium tour for the U.S. and Canada. Houston fans will get to see the mega-group when they come to Reliant Stadium on August 22nd of next year.
