One of the biggest tours of the summer comes to Houston in the form of the Carnivores Tour: Linkin Park, 30 Seconds To Mars & AFI. Some of the largest names in rock will converge at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on September 5th for a huge arena crushing performance. Linkin Park is currently supporting their new album “The Hunting Party” while 30STM is supporting their 2013 release “Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams.”

TSO is back as the Trans-Siberian Orchestra announces a new massive winter tour for the debut of their new show “The Christmas Attic.” “The Christmas Attic” will also be re-released to coincide with the tour, complete with downloadable bonus tracks, as well as a special vinyl edition. The album’s and show’s narrative starts on Christmas Eve, when a young girl’s curiosity leads her to a night of mischief and magic when she decides to sneak up into the attic of her parents’ home and discovers a magical doorway to the past. The show comes to Houston fans on on December 19th at the Toyota Center

The Tony Award-winning hit Book of Mormon is returning to Houston. “South Park” creators/writers Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and Academy Award and Tony-winning Avenue Q and “Frozen” songwriter Robert Lopez collaborated on the script and score to the musical, which earned Tony Awards for Best Book, Best Score and Best Musical. The musical comes to the Hobby Center from January 20th through February 8th of next year.

Legendary rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd returns to Houston at Sam Houston Race Park. Their fiery brand of Southern style guitar rock heaven will be on full display and they will also be joined by The Randy Rogers Band and Whiskey Myers. The show is Saturday August 23rd.
