Mexican acoustic rock guitar duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela are coming to Houston with their “9 Dead Alive 2014 U.S. Tour.” New dates for their fall leg kick off in October and brings the group to Houston at the Bayou Music Center on October 15th.
Zac Brown Band is continuing their “Great American Road Trip Tour” and come to Houston on October 4th at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. This is the first tour with new bassist Matt Mangano. Come experience the three time Grammy Award-winning band that has sold over six million albums and produced eleven No. 1 hit singles.
Tom Petty is on tour supporting the release of his first album in four years “Hypnotic Eye.” The tour comes to Houston at the Toyota Center on September 25, along with special guest Steve Winwood.
Theresa Caputo will be visiting 26 cities across the country in support of her new book “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up” which comes out in September. Her shows consist of interactive readings and stories about her life and special gifts, which has been selling out theaters since 2012. Houston fans get a chance to experience the “Long Island Medium” when she comes to NRG Stadium on October 19th.
After they finish their duties with tour mates One Direction, Australia’s 5 Seconds of Summer is launching their very own first-ever North American tour in 2015 and brings the Australian heartthrobs to Houston, not once, but twice. The guys will swing by NRG Stadium on August 22nd while opening for One Direction and then later will return to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Spring, Texas, on their very on headlining tour in August 8th of next year.
One Direction have released their third set of dates for their 2014 “Where We Are” stadium tour. This is the third concert tour by the English-Irish boy band and includes a Houston performance at NRG Stadium on August 22nd. The tour supports their third studio album, “Midnight Memories” and includes special guests 5 Seconds to Summer.
The Eagles have added even more dates to the Fall leg of their extended “History of the Eagles” tour, which includes a return to Houston. The band comes to the Toyota Center on October 14th with a show that features classics spanning the band’s career, including some that have never been performed live prior to this tour.
Nine Inch Nails & Soundgarden are heading to Houston along with Death Grips. The two legendary bands are supporting recent projects in Trent’s new NIN album “Hesitation Marks” and Soundgarden’s 20th anniversary reissue of “Superunknown,” which came out in June. The tour comes to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on August 16th.
For the third summer in a row, Wiz Khalifa is embarking on the “Under the Influence of Music” tour. This year the tour features Jeezy, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich Homie Quan, Iamsu!, DJ Drama, Tyga, Sage the Gemini, and Mack Wilds. The mega-tour comes to Houston at the The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on August 15th.
Featuring a cast of 39 performers, Disney on Ice: Frozen comes to Houston at the NRG Stadium in April. The touring production is based off the hit animated movie “Frozen,” and brings to life the story of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, Sven, and the trolls. Along with lavish sets, world class skating, and special appearances from some of your favorite Disney characters, you’ll also be able to enjoy the hit songs “Let It Go,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” “Fixer Upper” and more, which made the film so memorable. The production will play Houston from April 15th to the 20th, 2015.
